• Corten Steel or 'Weathering Steel' is a steel alloy designed to form a natural, stable rust like appearance when exposed to the elements.

Due to its chemical composition, this material exhibits resistance to corrosion beyond the surface oxidation, which forms its own protective layer. The layer protecting the surface develops and regenerates continuously when subjected to the influences of weather. The steel is allowed to 'rust' in order to form the 'protective' coating.

Insign Graphics use this material for the fabrication of outdoor sculpture and public art installations, decorative screens and panels, architectural signs, corporte identity and general building signage.

Due to its rustic antique appearance, this versatile material is also suitable for internal use as shown in some of the below images.
